Rock The Bells Recap--Holy Shit, We Nearly Died

As it has been alluded to several times this week, the WDR crew went down to the desert of SoCal to witness the reunification of the seminal band of our youths (and greatest band on the planet), Rage Against the Machine. Since we knew that there were only a few potential opportunities to see the Rage, we jumped at any opportunity, so San Bernardino was the concert we got (even though San Francisco would have been much more convenient--thanks, jerkoff).

However, Rage wasn't the only act on the bill. No, they decided to take part in a giant rap festival. And yes, though WDR is not entirely unfamiliar with this "hipped-hop", it's not exactly our calling card. There were some acts worth sticking around for (the Roots and P.E., bitches), and others not so much. But you know, it's all truly worth it just for the chance to see the Rage, so we endured. Boy, did we endure.

What follows from now on will be a recap of all the artists that we played a witness to. I'm going to set up each post, and then allow the other dudes here to fill in with their observations throughout the weekend whenever they damn will please. Plus, a bonus stab at music journalism by yours truly awaits you on Monday.

Since no one reads this shit on the weekend, I'm sure you won't mind our messy appearance.
