Public Enemy--Still Relevant

Nic Ouzo: You know, it would be almost worth it to go to the concert just to see these guys. Our tastes here at WDR tend to go more towards old-school hip-hop, especially the kind with you know, a conscience. So we all hold Public Enemy in the highest of high regards.

And they did not disappoint. My personal highlights were "911 is a Joke" and a couple of verses from "He Got Game"; that, and Burnt Hot Dog Face finishing off the set with a minute of kicking it on the drumset, where he did not embarrass himself at all (we love you Flavor Flav, but that description is eerily accurate).

And I'm waiting to hear the others chime in how I pussed out and had to sit down through most of the set. I mean, come on--Fight the Power, but Fuck the Sun, dude.
