Well, clearly Dubya doesn't give a crap about his legacy. He commuted Scooter Libby's sentence, so this poor old rich white guy ain't going to serve the hard time.

Now, this isn't as bad as VP Cheney saying that he is his own branch of government, separate from all others (funny how that is never mentioned in any civics class anywhere), but still this is bad. Clearly this is the result of Bush trying to desperately appease a base that is pissed at his attempts at immigration reform (a subject that will be discussed later this week), and it's a transparent attempt at that.
